Full Speech and Language Assessment
- 90-minute direct visit
- Informal or formal assessments are carried out depending on appropriateness and are assessed individually.
- Observation of individual in the setting (if appropriate)
- A full report will be provided detailing all aspects of communication and interaction skills and recommending therapeutic input if required.
We would need to provide a differential diagnosis of communication if appropriate.
- Assessment time: 1.5 hours
- Cost: £280 (or £395 if used for EHCP reasons)
Direct Visits/Time with a Speech and Language Therapist
- 45-minute direct session
- 15 minutes of clinical admin time
- Shorter or longer sessions will be charged at a pro-rata rate in 15-minute intervals.

- Duration: 1 hour
- Cost: £90
Direct Visits/Time with an Inclusive Communication Practitioner (ICP)
- 45-minute direct session
- 15 minutes of clinical admin time
- Shorter or longer sessions will be charged at a pro-rata rate in 15-minute intervals.

- Duration: 1 hour
- Cost: £70
Direct Therapy Blocks – With a Speech and Language Therapist
- Individuals must have had a recent (within the last six months) comprehensive SLT assessment.
- Weekly or fortnightly (or lower frequency to be discussed with your treating therapist) visits from a Speech and Language Therapist for an agreed number of weeks (sessions will be 45 minutes allowing for 15 minutes of clinical admin time)
- Therapy summary at the end of the block of therapy and recommendations for ongoing support
- Liaison with parents, carers, and education provider during the therapy block.
- Delivered in-home, school, or childcare setting (or a combination where appropriate).

Individuals must have had a recent (within the last six months) comprehensive SLT assessment.

Weekly or fortnightly (or lower frequency to be discussed with your treating therapist) visits from speech and language therapy assistant for an agreed number of weeks (sessions will be 45 minutes allowing for 15 minutes of clinical admin time). The Treating Speech and Language Therapist may visit on this initial therapy session this is discussed at the therapists discretion.

Travel time & Mileage
Travel time is charged only for journeys exceeding 30 minutes each way (more than one hour round trip) from our base in Totnes (TQ9 5AL).
- £40/hr of driving
Travel time is calculated using the AA Route Planner based on the expected journey time.
This charge helps cover the therapist’s time spent travelling and ensures fair access to services across wider areas.
Please note: Mileage is charged separately at £0.45 per mile (return journey).
